Please read these Terms carefully before using Solto. By accessing our platform you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Solto (the "Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with anything here, please stop using the Platform. These Terms apply to everyone who visits or uses Solto.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Solto. By registering, you confirm that you meet that age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Account Responsibilities
Keep your login details private. Tell us at app@getsolto.com right away if you think someone else accessed your account. Solto is not responsible for losses caused by someone using your account without permission if you failed to protect your credentials.
4. Property Listings
If you list a property, you confirm that you have the right to rent or sell it, that your description, photos, pricing, and location are truthful, and that you will follow through on bids you accept.
We may remove listings that break these rules or that we believe are fraudulent.
5. Bidding Rules
When you bid, you intend to rent or buy on the terms shown and you can afford what you offer. Bids matter: pulling out after a landlord accepts may lead to restrictions on your account.
A platform fee applies to each bid unless your plan says otherwise. Those fees are generally non-refundable unless the landlord cancels an accepted bid or we say otherwise in our refund policy.
6. Fees & Payments
Some features cost money, such as listing fees and bidding fees. Prices are shown before you pay. Payments go through Stripe.
Premium members may pay lower or no per-action fees. Check the Pricing page for current numbers.
Refunds follow our Refund Policy and are otherwise decided case by case when something went wrong on our side or fraud is proven.
7. Prohibited Conduct
Do not post fake listings or bids, harass people in messages, try to avoid paying Solto fees by moving deals off-platform, run bots or scrapers against our systems, or break into our infrastructure.
Breaking these rules can lead to suspension or permanent closure of your account.
8. Intellectual Property
The Solto name, logo, software, layouts, and our own text belong to us and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Do not copy or redistribute our materials without permission.
When you upload photos or videos, you give us a simple licence to show and store that content so we can operate the marketplace.
9. Disclaimers
Solto is a marketplace. We do not own the properties on the site and we do not inspect every listing in person. We cannot guarantee that every listing or user behaves fairly. You use the Platform at your own risk.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
10. Limitation of Liability
Where the law allows, Solto is not liable for indirect or consequential damages from using the Platform. Our total liability for a claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the event that caused the claim.
11. Termination
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. You can delete your account from your profile. When access ends, your right to use the Platform stops.
12. Changes to Terms
We can update these Terms. For important changes we will email you or notify you in the app at least 14 days ahead when practical. Using the Platform after the new Terms take effect means you accept them.
