At Solto, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

We collect information you give us when you create an account, list a property, place a bid, or contact support.
Personal Information: Full name, email address, phone number, and profile photo.
Property & Listing Data: Property details, photos, videos, location coordinates, pricing, and listing preferences you submit.
Payment Information: Transaction records and payment confirmations processed through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, search queries, bid activity, message timestamps, and basic device or browser information collected automatically.
Location Data: Approximate location for geo search only when you allow it.
We use what we collect to run Solto: hosting listings and bids, processing payments, sending transactional emails such as bid updates and OTP codes, delivering notifications you asked for, working with our KYC partner when verification is required, stopping fraud and abuse, and meeting legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We only share information where it makes sense to run the service.
With Other Users: After a bid is accepted, landlords may see relevant renter profile details and renters may see landlord contact information inside an active conversation.
Service Providers: We use Stripe for payments, Firebase for authentication and push notifications, Tencent COS for file storage, and Didit for KYC. Each provider only receives what they need and is bound to protect your data.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if the law requires it, if a court orders it, or if we must protect the safety of Solto and our users.
We keep your account data while your account stays open. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within about 30 days unless we must keep something for legal or fraud reasons.
Property listings and transaction records may be kept for up to seven years where financial regulations require it.
Depending on where you live, you may be able to access the personal data we hold, correct mistakes, delete your account, withdraw consent for optional processing such as marketing emails, or ask for a portable copy of your data.

We use TLS for data in transit, encrypted storage where appropriate, and access controls on our systems. No online service is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and never share your login details.
Solto is not meant for anyone under 18. If you think we collected data from a child, contact us right away at app@getsolto.com.
We may update this policy occasionally. If the change matters, we will email you or show a notice in the app. Continuing to use Solto after an update means you accept the revised policy.
